That this House notes that Southend is completely free of foot and mouth disease; and recommends that people throughout the United Kingdom take a short relaxing break in this most attractive resort which is famous not only for the longest pier in the world, its fabulous ice cream, marvellous shell fish, wonderful floral displays, and an above average level of sunshine each day.
