That this House notes that Bradford is the home of David Hockney, the Brontes, Delius and JB Priestley; further notes that the National Photographic Museum is the most visited museum outside London; recognises the contribution of the Ilkley Literature Festival and the Bradford Festival to the cultural life of the district; and congratulates the City of Bradford and on its innovative bid for European Capital of Culture in 2008.
