leave out from "notes" to end and add "that although the National Memorial Arboretum of Litchfield took a welcome initiative to establish the Ulster Ash Grove memorial to service personnel murdered in Northern Ireland, containing plastic markers identifying those who lost their lives, the Trustees of the Arboretum have decided that permanent plaques can only be supplied at a cost of ú100 to the families; believes that the Secretary of State for Defence should act to ensure that the costs are covered from public funds, if necessary using the services of organisations such as the Friends of War Memorials and the relevant local authorities.".
