Council Tax Increases In West Sussex

EDM number 1057 in 2002-03, proposed by Peter Bottomley on 10/04/2003.

That this House deplores the decision of the Government to move funds from West Sussex to other councils, many in the Midlands and North; acknowledges the difficulty that this is causing West Sussex residents including the elderly who will receive a lower pensions increase than council tax increase; and calls on the Chancellor to give local people their money back.

This motion has been signed by a total of 2 MPs.
