Birchwood Town Council

That this House congratulates Birchwood Town Council on the use of its parish rate to employ a number of maintenance operatives in the area; notes that this has reduced litter, tackled graffiti, improved landscaping and lessened the amount of dumping; believes that this initiative has made a significant contribution to improving the quality of life in Birchwood; and urges other town and parish councils to consider following its example.
