Buxton Mineral Water;amdt. Line 5:

EDM number 801A1 in 2003-04, proposed by Derek Conway on 29/03/2004.

Line 5, leave out from 'that' to end and add 'Coca-Cola has not and does not seek to ban independent retailers from selling Buxton Mineral Water or any other brand in their stores; further notes that every chiller cabinet arrangement between Coca-Cola and independent retailers clearly states that "This rental arrangement does not stop you stocking other soft drink products in your outlet or elsewhere"; observes that Coca-Cola offers independent retailers three ways in which to enter into an arrangement on chiller cabinets: they can choose to purchase the chiller cabinets from Coca-Cola, they can rent space in the chiller cabinet for a peppercorn rent of ú2 a week, and they can choose to accept the chiller cabinet free of charge; and further observes that the first two options allow any brand of soft drink to be sold in the chiller cabinets, and that for the third option Coca-Cola asks the retailer that only its brands be stocked but makes it clear that the agreement in no way precludes the stocking of other products or chiller cabinets within the shop.'

This is a ammendment to 801.
