Paramilitary Violence In Northern Ireland
EDM number 179 in 2005-06, proposed by Gregory Campbell on 24/05/2005.
That this House notes the continuing activity carried out by paramilitary groups in Northern Ireland; is appalled that any political party aspiring to be part of the government in Northern Ireland can be, in the words of the Prime Minister `inextricably linked' to such activity; and calls upon all democratic political parties to carry their opposition of such activity to its logical conclusion and ensure that a form of government is established in Northern Ireland that precludes the involvement of any such criminal elements.
This motion has been signed by a total of 10 MPs.
