Food Vision In Gloucestershire
EDM number 2907 in 2005-06, proposed by David Drew on 02/11/2006.
That this House welcomes the recent report identifying how Gloucestershire is setting out to achieve an integrated long-term food policy in the form of a Food Vision; further notes that the best approach is through partnership between public and private sectors and recognises the key part played by the University of Gloucestershire through its countryside and rural unit; believes that, whilst gaps still exist in provision, small producers can add value to a regional brand in terms of health, safety and price; and thanks Rob Rees and Adrian Jevans in particular for having the commitment to see this through.
This motion has been signed by a total of 7 MPs.
