Camelot And Post Office Ltd

EDM number 1236 in 2009-10, proposed by William Cash on 06/04/2010.
Categorised under the topic of National Lottery.

That this House urges the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport to make a statement that the Government does not support the application by Camelot, working with Post Office Ltd, to the National Lottery Commission for consent to offer cash payment of utility bills, energy meter pre-payments, mobile top-ups, housing rents and council taxes through National Lottery terminals; and considers that if the application were to be granted National Lottery would be competing unfairly against sub-post offices, small shop owners and small businesses.

This motion has been signed by a total of 5 MPs.
