That this House notes with disgust the latest burst water main at Liverpool Road, Huyton; further notes that this is the fifth such burst in recent years and for the third time has led to residents' homes being flooded; calls on United Utilities to arrange up-front compensation for the speedy reinstatement of residents' home contents and repairs; and further calls on the Government to carry out an urgent investigation into United Utilities unfitness to have responsibility for water supplies in the North West of England.
