Proposed Closure Of Virgin Media Liverpool Offices

That this House is concerned that Virgin Media is proposing to close itsLiverpool offices in Albert Dock with the loss of over 400 jobs; notes that Virgin's aim is to reduce office costs and urges the company to work with Liverpool City Council, Liverpool Vision and other appropriate bodies to identify alternative premises in Liverpool; and further urges the company to consider the suggestion, put forward by the Communication Workers Union, to consider the repatriation to the UK of jobs currently performed for the company abroad.
