Trade Union Reform Campaign

That this House notes the establishment of the Trade Union Reform Campaign in Westminster Hall on 24 January 2012 which was attended by the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government; further notes that the campaign aims to end all taxpayer subsidies to the trades unions; believes that this campaign is a great step forward in creating fairness between the duty of the taxpayer and the duty of trade union members; further notes the Prime Minister's welcome of the establishment of the Trade Union Reform Campaign; congratulates the hon. Member for Cannock Chase and Mr Mark Clarke for creating this body; and calls on the Government to bring forward legislative proposals to end state subsidies of trades unions.
