That this House congratulates Leicester City on its position as the UK's second most sustainable city in the Forum for the Future's Sustainable Cities Index; notes that Leicester has the lowest ecological footprint of any UK city; further notes that this is the result of the city hitting targets for reducing its impact on the environment and increasing the role of the green economy; and calls on the Government to continue to work with Leicester and other cities across the UK to ensure they reduce their ecological footprint and become more sustainable.
