That this House calls on the newspaper publishing group Trinity Mirror to take every step to protect the UK's excellent regional newspapers; reminds Trinity Mirror of the vital role that newspapers such as the excellent Huddersfield Examiner play at the very heart of the vibrant community and town of Huddersfield; and further reminds Trinity Mirror that the Examiner is one of the best performing regional newspapers in the country and should therefore be protected from redundancies.
