That this House congratulates Kilmarnock Station Railway Heritage Trust on being awarded a grant of £149,385 from the Big Lottery Fund; understands that this will be used to fund an initiative to deliver capacity and resilience building to address loss, isolation and loneliness to enable people to connect with the local community; notes that the initiative will focus on three target groups, those affected by addiction, those experiencing mental health concerns and retired and bereaved older people; recognises the importance of promoting positive relationships to support individuals in building the personal skills, feeling of self-worth and confidence needed to re-join society; and wishes the Kilmarnock Station Railway Heritage Trust well in achieving its goals.
