Friends Of Maryhill Park Window Wanderland

EDM number 1042 in 2017-19, proposed by Patrick Grady on 08/03/2018.
Categorised under the topic of Arts.

That this House applauds Friends of Maryhill Park for organising activities to promote its forthcoming Window Wanderland, including a Window Wanderland Workshop, to help residents of Maryhill Park prepare for the event on 10 March 2018; commends the group's efforts to prepare for the event, including cleaning the local area in preparation; understands that Window Wanderland encourages artistic expression from local residents and asks them to display artwork directly onto their windows to allow those in the surrounding area to walk through their neighbourhood and appreciate the creativity and efforts of their friends and neighbours; commends those involved for their longstanding and ongoing efforts to enhance community and promote diversity through local art; and looks forward to a successful Window Wanderland event.
