That this House warmly welcomes the relocation of parts of Channel Four from central London; commends Liverpool's comprehensive and exciting bid to become a new destination for the broadcaster; notes the extraordinary cultural prowess of the city and clear commitment from the creative sector behind the bid; further notes the extent of the positive impact of the employment and training opportunities this move could provide the City, and the wider North West; notes that the city has a wealth of iconic locations for Channel Four and extensive existing studio capacity; looks forward to a rigorous, transparent process in arriving at a decision on the three cities that will each host part of the broadcaster's operations; and wishes Liverpool every success in its bid.
