Battle Of Ebro Commemoration 7 July

That this House recalls the bravery of the members of the army of the Spanish Republic and of the International Brigades which in July 1938 launched the last Republican offensive, the Battle of the Ebro; congratulates the International Brigades Memorial Trust which will mark the bravery of those antiĀ­-fascists with a rally at the memorial to the International Brigades on London's South Bank on 7 July 2018; and commends the Catalan Government on its efforts to excavate battlefield sites, such as the cave used during the battle by the Republican forces as a hospital.
