50th Anniversary Of St Francis Primary School

That this House notes that St Francis Primary School in the Gorbals celebrated its 50th anniversary on 14 November 2017; understands that the school was opened on 14 November 1967 by the then Glasgow Corporation; believes that St Francis Primary School has made a substantial contribution to educating youngsters in one of the most deprived areas of Glasgow; congratulates the school on reaching this important milestone; and wishes the headteacher, Mrs Sharon McGeever, staff and pupils every success for the future.
