S.c.e. Exams - The Profoundly Deaf

That this House asks Her Majesty's Government to introduce emergency measures which will allow profoundly deaf people to overcome the problems posed by their limited vocabulary when sitting S.C.E. examinations; and further asks that such people be allowed to use dictionaries or that the questions are worded in simple language so that their learning rather than their vocabulary is tested.
