Fraudulent Fund Raising

That this House is disturbed by the growth of organisations fraudulently obtaining money from the British public by giving the impression they are collecting for a charitable cause; is particularly concerned at the actions of an organisation known as Friends of Yours which collects money purportedly for baby care units; and further calls on Her Majesty's Government to take urgent action to investigate these acts of fraud which divert money from worthwhile and reputable causes.
