Papers Of Mr Colin Wallace

EDM number 418 in 1989-90, proposed by Brian Sedgemore on 31/01/1990.

That this House notes that papers submitted to the Select Committee on the Treasury and Civil Service by Mr Colin Wallace showed clearly that a dirty tricks department was operating in Northern Ireland; notes also that members of the Committee were not allowed to take copies of the papers, which were kept under lock and key; further notes that the Committee eventually sent the papers to the Prime Minister because they dealt with security as well as matters concerning the Civil Service; and calls on the Prime Minister to say what she did with the papers.

This motion has been signed by a total of 17 MPs.
