Chairmanship Of The Radio Authority

That this House commends the probity recently demonstrated by Lord Chalfont by his decision to resign from the Independent Television Commission in order to prevent a possible conflict of interest with his directorship of a public relations company but considers that, in view of his well-known commercial interests, it would be equally appropriate for him to resign forthwith as Chairman of the Radio Authority.
