Water Disconnections

That this House deplores the continuing practice of disconnecting water supplies from domestic households and puts the spotlight in particular on Northumbria Water - 39 per cent increase, Three Valleys Water Company - 63 per cent, South West Water 74 per cent, North West Water - 146 per cent and Portsmouth - 225 per cent; congratulates those companies that have achieved a substantial reduction; and urges the Government to respond to public opinion on this issue by making the disconnections of water from domestic households unlawful.
