Standards For Ms Care

That this House congratulates the MS Society for the work it has undertaken in collaboration with the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery to develop benchmark standards of health care for people with multiple sclerosis; applauds the new Measuring Success Award for health and social services providers who meet the standards for MS care set out in the guidance; notes that winners are eligible for grants of ú10,000 for applied research in the field of MS symptom management; and urges the Government to publicise this superb initiative as widely as possible throughout the medical and related professions.
