Extradition To Hong Kong

EDM number 778 in 1997-98, proposed by Robert Jackson on 11/02/1998.

That this House calls upon the Government not to complete the procedures necessary to enable the agreement for the surrender of fugitive offenders with the Government of the Hong Kong SAR to come into force until the text of the agreement makes clear, in line with the Government's political commitments, that there will be no possibility of the transfer of such offenders elsewhere within the territory of the People's Republic of China.

This motion has been signed by a total of 8 MPs.
