Business Of The House Of Commons
EDM number 86 in 1997-98, proposed by Ken Livingstone on 06/06/1997.
That this House, noting the uncompleted debate on the Education (Schools) Bill on the afternoon and evening of 5th June and the morning of 6th June, recognises that this is exactly the sort of conduct that does nothing to encourage informed debate and makes the House of Commons seem out of touch with modern life; and therefore calls for the proper timetabling of all legislation following second reading on each bill.
This motion has been signed by a total of 7 MPs.
