Housebuilding And The Enterprise Investment Scheme

EDM number 874 in 1997-98, proposed by Barry Gardiner on 03/03/1998.

That this House recognises the valuable role which the Enterprise Investment Scheme plays in raising capital for house building and development, particularly notes that small companies do not possess the resources to participate in private finance initiatives; congratulates Mizen Design from Brent for submitting a bid to the scheme; and welcomes the oportunity this will create to boost jobs at good wage levels but at less cost than many other employment initiatives.

This motion has been signed by a total of 18 MPs.
