Green Ribbon Political Award Winners

That this House congratulates the honourable Members for Oldham West and Royton, Nottingham South, Ceredigion, Lewes, South Shields and Kingston-upon-Hull East, along with the German Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer and Ron Bailey of Friends of the Earth, for winning awards in recognition of their environmental work done in the first year of the New Labour Government; and endorses the importance of the Green Ribbon Political Awards, which recognise and reward the contributions made by national and international politicians to environmental protection.
