Royal Automobile Club

EDM number 604 in 1998-99, proposed by Alan Keen on 30/04/1999.

That this House is of the opinion that, since the decision of the Royal Automobile Club to sell off the rescue and breakdown service and to ignore the 5.7 million members when deciding on the distribution of the sale proceeds, it is no longer fitting that the work 'Royal' should be used either by the business or especially by the club after the display of such greed and selfishness.

This motion has been signed by a total of 18 MPs.
