Mordechai Vanunu

EDM number 897 in 1998-99, proposed by Jeremy Corbyn on 27/07/1999.

That this House is deeply concerned at the continued detention of Mordechai Vanunu in Israel; is deeply concerned at reports that he has now been returned to solitary confinement having already suffered 11 years of it before being allowed association with other prisoners; and calls upon the new Israeli Government to recognise that he is a man of peace and principle and should be released.

This motion has been signed by a total of 27 MPs.
