That this House welcomes the decision of the Treasury Committee to conduct an inquiry into how Government funds are shared across the United Kingdom; and urges the Chancellor of the Exchequer to look at this issue in his comprehensive spending review and to equalise spending levels by use of the Barnett formula throughout the United Kingdom.
