District Line Services
EDM number 197 in 2000-01, proposed by Jenny Tonge on 15/01/2001.
That this House is dismayed that London Underground proposes to cut the number of trains serving Richmond and Ealing to only three per hour during peak times from 3rd February to 13th May whilst repair works are carried out in the Kensington area rather than the 7.5 trains that run at present; and calls on London Underground to reconsider its decision not to cut any Wimbledon services during this period and to spread the reduction in service more equitably between the three branches of the District Line.
This motion has been signed by a total of 12 MPs, 2 of these signatures have been withdrawn.
