That this House congratulates Matthew Thirlwall on his great success on becoming British Amateur Boxing Association light middleweight national champion; notes that this latest success for Bermondsey boxing builds on the past success of coach Steve Hiser and the team at Fisher Amateur Boxing Club; wishes Matthew Thirlwall all the best in his future career; and calls on the Government to support Matthew and other promising young sportsmen and women to help them achieve further success.
