Christie Mcgrath

EDM number 139 in 2001-02, proposed by John McDonnell on 12/07/2001.

That this House calls for the immediate referral to the Court of Appeal the case of Christie McGrath, a 23 year old jump jocket from County Tipperary, Ireland, who has been unjustly sentenced to 16 years in prison for the murder of Gary Walton in July 2000, despite the lack of forensic evidence associating him with this crime.

This motion has been signed by a total of 29 MPs.
