Hms Montrose
EDM number 1574 in 2001-02, proposed by Mike Weir on 05/07/2002.
That this House welcomes the decision to award the Freedom of Angus to the Commanding Officer and Ship's Company of HMS Montrose; notes that as a serving vessel for the Royal Navy that wherever in the world she is called she proudly carries the name of Montrose; and concludes that the ship is a superb ambassador not only for the people of Montrose but also the whole of Angus.
