Terrorism And The Omagh Bombing

EDM number 264 in 2001-02, proposed by Jeffrey Donaldson on 18/10/2001.

That this House notes that the intelligence information gathered by the FBI, CIA and allied intelligence agencies has convinced Her Majesty's Government and President Bush to conduct a military campaign against the Al Qaeda terrorist network and its leader Osama Bin Laden; further notes that this level of intelligence is no different to that gathered by the Royal Ulster Constabulary and the Garda Siochana on the suspected Irish Republican bombers of Omagh, Liam Campbell, Seamus Daly and Oliver Traynor, who were named in the BBC Panorama programme; and calls on the Government to authorise the security forces to take appropriate action against these terrorists in order to ensure that justice is achieved for the innocent victims of Omagh.

This motion has been signed by a total of 7 MPs.
