Crufts 2001 Champion

That this House congratulates Jethard Cidevant on being judged Champion of Crufts 2001 Dog Show; further congratulates his owner, breeder and handler Mr Paul Singleton of Colchester; notes that more than 21,000 dogs were entered at Crufts and this is the first time that the title of champion has been won by a Basenjis, a rare breed of dog and the only breed which does not bark; and wishes Cid and his owner further success in future competitions.
