Shenstone And Hadrian

That this House deplores the continuing Rachmanite abuses of resident long-leaseholder tenants in apartment blocks on which Shenstone Properties Ltd. holds the freeholds, and Hadrian Property Management Ltd. is the freeholder's managing agent; notes that Hadrian Property Management, while technically an independent company, is in practice totally controlled by and subservient to Shenstone Properties; further notes that the companies operate from PO box numbers in Litchfield, Staffordshire, hundreds of miles away from most of the subject tenancies, which makes it almost impossible for tenants to inspect the accounts; and deplores that it appears that the above companies, who operate a policy of divide and rule among their leaseholder tenants, may not be effectively controlled by the new Leasehold Reform Bill currently before Parliament.
