ST PIRAN'S DAY

That this House celebrates with the people of Cornwall, St Piran's Day, commemorating the patron saint of Cornwall on 5th March, who according to legend brought Christianity to Cornwall and discovered tin; and encourages this celebration of cultural identity and regional diversity through recognition of this important day in the life of Cornish people.
