Virgin Trains

EDM number 1181 in 2002-03, proposed by Albert Owen on 12/05/2003.

That this House notes Virgin Trains' claim that 131 new trains will be 'rolling out over our network'; demands to know why the London to North Wales lines is excluded from this programme; further notes that the trains on the line, far from being sexy and sleek, are old and dirty; and calls upon Virgin Trains to build upon the excellent service provided by its staff and invest more money in better trains and less money in advertising.

This motion has been signed by a total of 20 MPs.
