Rt Hon Member For Birmingham Ladywood
EDM number 1193 in 2002-03, proposed by Simon Thomas on 12/05/2003.
That this House congratulates the Right honourable Member for Birmingham Ladywood on her conduct as Secretary of State for International Development; believes that she achieved considerable success in that post; supports strongly the work she undertook together with the Chancellor of the Exchequer to relieve the indebtedness of the poorest countries; urges the Cabinet to continue her good work; but is dismayed that there is no longer a Cabinet minister answerable to the Commons for this vital issue.
This motion has been signed by a total of 12 MPs.
