Cross-Cutting Question Session On Youth Policy

EDM number 512 in 2002-03, proposed by Hilton Dawson on 14/01/2003.

That this House considers that the cross-cutting question session on youth policy on Thursday 23 January in Westminster Hall is one of the most important of the new modernisation measures because it gives all honourable Members an opportunity to address a crucial policy issue in an integrated manner and enables the House to focus on matters of particular importance to the coming democratic generation; urges all honourable Members to attend and participate in questioning ministers; and welcomes the initiative taken by the All Party Children Group to hold a meeting immediately following the question time at 3.45 in Committee Room 21, where honourable Members will have the opportunity to review both the process and content of this historic event in the well informed and challenging company of 14 members of the UK Youth Parliament.

This motion has been signed by a total of 15 MPs.
