That this House calls on the Government to make representations to the United States Federal and Texas state authorities and to the Texan Board of Pardon and Parole to plead for Jackie Elliot, a British national, to ensure that a DNA test be conducted, that his execution date be cancelled and that a retrial be ordered or clemency be exercised.
