Council Tax Benefit Regulations Abolition

EDM number 288 in 2003-04, proposed by Iain Coleman on 15/12/2003.

That this House welcomes the announcement from the Government that the regressive, iniquitous and unfair Council Tax Benefit Regulations are to be abolished as from 1st April 2004; calls upon the Government to widely publicise this excellent news; and congratulates those campaigners who have worked tirelessly for this long-awaited decision.

This motion has been signed by a total of 25 MPs.
