That this House is shocked at the Union of Democratic Mineworkers (UDM) circular advising people to lie about vibration white finger symptoms; calls for an immediate inquiry into the running of Vendside, the UDM claims handling company, and an immediate suspension of the DTI claims handling agreement with the UDM; and believes that underhand methods like this will lead to many honest claims being rejected.
