Eurovision Song Contest (No. 2)

EDM number 1473 in 2006-07, proposed by David Amess on 15/05/2007.

That this House regrets the deterioration in performance levels of artists at this year's Eurovision Song Contest; notes with concern the increasing politicisation of voting patterns; and feels with great sadness that the time has now come when the United Kingdom should withdraw from the contest until it is properly re-established on a basis which attracts the very best songs and judges those songs regardless of a country's political allegiances.

This motion has been signed by a total of 7 MPs.
