Big Food Debate Campaign

EDM number 1990 in 2006-07, proposed by Peter Kilfoyle on 24/07/2007.

That this House recognises the fact that unhealthy diets are having a damaging effect on the nation's health; believes that the issue of unhealthy diet can best be addressed by bringing together representatives from government, the healthcare professions, support groups, the food and drink industries and the media; and congratulates Heart of Mersey on organising the Big Food Debate in Liverpool on 18th October 2007 to highlight the connection between sensible eating and a healthy life.

This motion has been signed by a total of 30 MPs.
