Job Losses At Driver Vehicle Licensing Northern Ireland

That this House notes the net job losses announced on Wednesday 10th January 2007 at the Driver Vehicle Licensing Northern Ireland (DVLNI), based in Coleraine; calls on the Government to ensure that there are comprehensive discussions with trade union representatives to ensure the minimum possible adverse impact on the North Coast economy; and further calls on the Government to ensure that as many new jobs as possible are created in Coleraine to secure the long-term future of the DVLNI at its present location.
