That this House deplores Anchor Retirement Housing's recent decision to close the Holly Dene residential scheme for elderly people in Kirkby; notes that this decision was taken without any consultation with residents or Knowsley Council; further notes that Anchor has delayed implementation of this decision for six months; expresses hope that the assurance that residents will be relocated to accommodation of their choice will be honoured by Anchor Retirement Housing; and calls on Anchor Retirement Housing to build a new scheme to replace Holly Dene.
